R.I.P. Saturday Morning Cartoons
Today I’d like to direct your attention to The Superhero Satellite, which has published a superlative and very visual appreciation of the long-lost ritual of American television network Saturday morning cartoons.
The post is pure nostalgia, with network ads from the era trumpeting their Saturday morning line-up, and numerous YouTube videos with clips of series action and openings.
The page might take a few extra seconds to load (owing to all that video), but it is definitely worth the wait. Stay in your pajamas, pour a double-helping of sugar-coated cereal, and check it out!

I was a child of the 80’s and remember waking up early Saturday mornings to watch these shows…good times!
